Every gift powers scholarships that send Jefferson County students to The University of Alabama — and keeps our chapter’s events and programs rolling.
Give to a Scholarship
To make a secure online gift to a chapter scholarship, visit Contribute to NAA Chapter Scholarships at alumni.ua.edu, scroll to In-State Chapter Scholarships, and choose Jefferson County Chapter. From there you can select any of our scholarships and complete the University’s giving form.
Become a Patron Member
Our patron memberships are the chapter’s biggest source of scholarship support — join at a patron level and your annual dues go to work for local students. Each option below is a one-year membership, so nothing renews automatically unless you choose a recurring membership on the membership page.

Our highest patron level — leadership support for scholarships and programs.
About Your Contribution
It is worth knowing the difference between the two ways of giving above, because they are handled differently:
- Gifts made through The University of Alabama — using the alumni.ua.edu link above — are received by the University. UA states that these contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and that you will receive an official receipt from The University of Alabama.
- Patron memberships and other contributions paid directly to the Jefferson County Chapter stay with the chapter and fund our local scholarship efforts, events, and student recruitment. The chapter is not able to issue a tax-deductible acknowledgment letter for these.
Both kinds of support matter to us. We simply want you to know which one you are making before you give. For questions about how a gift applies to your own return, please check with your tax advisor.
